| Deskripsi | In its development of forty years period, the Faculty of Letters of Petra Christian University has established its excellence through the accreditation of the English Department by The National Accreditation Council with Grade A. This success is also strengthened by the great achievements of its alumni in many job fields. With the success achieved by the English Department, the Faculty of Letters of Petra Christian University takes a further step in developing the Humanities by opening the Chinese Department (undergraduate). Besides the success that the Faculty of Letters of Petra Christian University has achieved through the English Department, the determination to open the Chinese Department is also supported by the increasing role of Eastern Asian countries (RRC, Japan, Korea) in the last decades. Moreover, historically Indonesia has built a good relationship and cooperation with those countries. |

| Informasi Sertifikat dan ISO lainnya | The program of the Chinese Department takes eight semester to finish. For the first four semester, the emphasis is given to Modern Mandarin skills. With adequate basic competence in this language, the students will be taught to know, understand, and appreciate the Chinese literature and culture that will be studied more profoundly when they take One-semester-in-China Immersion Program. Besides that, they will also be equipped with practical knowledge and skills to prepare themselves to meet the job requirements, such as:
